About the performance

On Wednesday, December 11 at 6 pm and Thursday, December 19 at 6 pm (reprise) we invite you to Galerie Rudolfinum to a lecture by Miřenka Čechová from the free CRASH cycle connected with a movement intervention. Admission is free.

The lecture will introduce the theory of the basic relations of the body in space based on Rudolf Laban’s movement principles, the points of orientation in the space of classical ballet and the theory of the performing body that responds to spatial relations and architecture, creating its own bodily response. The lecture will be followed by a movement intervention directly in the Antony Gormley / Pavla Melková exhibition, during which the individual principles can be verified and experienced from the position of both the actor and the observer.

The programme is held in Czech.
