An original 24 – 30 hr. site-specific project that explores the passage of time and how this changes according to context, space and theme.
If a person becomes absolutely still, she will see the movement of her own shadow.
Imagine what we would be able to experience if we were able to overcome the passage of time. Sabine Seume, a buto dancer, choreographer and initiator of multiple-hour performances, joins performer and choreographer Miřenka Čechová in a marathon of intimate, everyday moments. In pushing their limits, they battle exhaustion, extreme fatigue and the elements. “They surpass the boundaries of the „ordinary“ and set off into worlds unknown and unexplored.” (Dance Zone - Taneční zóna)
This project was created in cooperation with the National Theater in Prague and the international Zero Point (Nultý bod) festival and with support from the Ministry of Culture of the CR, the Capital City of Prague and the Czech-German Fund for the Future.
